The National Honor Society Peer Tutoring Program will offer academic support service for PES students through individual tutoring sessions. These sessions will help students develop a deeper understanding of course concepts and will give them opportunities for guided practice.
Peer Tutoring is a service requirement of the National Honor Society. Every NHS member is required to complete 5 periods
of tutoring per trimester.
The periods are flexible since the tutor arranges the meeting times and days with the tutee.
NHS Service Accountability
Each member will be responsible for their Peer Tutoring service periods through a Peer-Tutoring ticket.
The ticket must be signed by the tutor and the tutee and returned to Mrs. Gende's office (3029).
